Walk in Your Authority!

You don’t have to put up with the devil’s oppression any longer. God has empowered you with the anointing to remove burdens, destroy yokes and to be an overcomer. The devil is a burden that can easily be driven away by exercising your God-given authority.

God has given you His Word and His Spirit as a defense against the devil’s schemes. You’ve been clothed in the armor of God so “…that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil” (Ephesians 6:11). You have everything needed to defeat the devil whenever he shows up at your door. He will keep showing up because you possess something that he desperately wants-your God-given authority to rule and reign in the earth.

When God created Adam, he gave him dominion and authority over the earth (Genesis 1:26, AMP). However, when Adam rebelled against God, he turned his authority to rule over to the devil. Satan then had control over everything except the throne of God (2 Corinthians 4:4). Since Satan contaminated the ground with sin, God couldn’t destroy Adam and make another man from the dust of the earth. Aren’t you thankful that He had plan? He came to the earth as a man. Through Jesus’ death and resurrection, he defeated Satan and took back our authority to rule (Hebrews 2:9, 14), and we have been restored to our rightful place of authority.

Jesus has all power and authority in heaven and earth (Matthew 28:18). Since we were raised with Him, we have all power and authority as well (Ephesians 2:4-7). Therefore, do not neglect your right to rule and reign in the earth. Every time the enemy tries to attack you, consider it an opportunity to exercise your power over him. You have the authority to declare what is lawful and unlawful in this earth, and to permit or to forbid things on the earth-even death (Matthew 16:18-19, AMP).

I challenge you to begin making demands in Jesus’ name. John 14:13-14 says, “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.” The word ask means “demand.” What you demand in Jesus’ name (from the Word), He promises He will do. Understand that when you make a demand, you aren’t demanding that God do things. Instead, you are demanding that the devil submit to the Word, to loose his hold and to stop his operations against you.

Faith is involved in exercising your spiritual authority. You must base your faith on what the Word says, not on circumstances. When circumstances do not change immediately, some people become discouraged and begin to speak doubt and unbelief. This only gives the devil dominion over their words, which ultimately defeat them. Don’t hand over your authority to Satan through your words. Instead, break the power of the devil by walking in your authority!

I sketched your portrait, and planned your way.

Attentive to details, I perfected your shell

that the temple of My Spirit be forever protected.

Then I took my hand and molded the clay

mapped out your life, sent you on your way.

Suddenly my heart shook, like a quake in the night,

Your fears in my ears, your heart filled with fright.

No, no, no! This shall not be!

This was never in the plan, you see!

Your portrait reveals, your life had no end

 Eternity your portion, forever my kin.

Your portrait etched in the heart of my mind,

No surprise to what I would find,

A life altered by a stranger’s pen,

Disguised as a friend, a slave to sin.

Your eyes were moved to the back of the head,

remaining in the past, never looking ahead.

Stitched shut, that you may never see

the way to go, the way chosen by ME!

Examining it closely, I pull out my pen,

Redeeming the time, let the erasing begin!

A mouth darkened in like a black, empty hole,

no teeth, tongue, lips, or strength, total loss of control.

for you were created with power so bold,

but now you cry to save your soul!

Symbols etched all over your face,

words of hate and of disgrace,

All influenced by the father of lies

that your identity never be recognized!

Oh, no, no, no! He has not won!

For your very life, I gave.

Compassion, love, and the gift of a SON,

Demolished the grave, of the slave, to save!

And as you grow in me, your life changes, you see.

I edit your portrait to what I’d planned, originally!

Examining it closely, I pull out my pen

The pouring out of blood, let the erasing begin!

Tears of pain…ERASED!

Hearts of shame…ERASED!

Sins of the past…ERASED!

The imitator’s mask…ERASED!

Generational curses…ERASED!

Endless thirsts…ERASED!

Years of abuse…ERASED!

Power misused…ERASED!

Fearful doubt…ERASED!

Prideful clout…ERASED!

Anger and Rage…ERASED!

Life in a cage…ERASED!

Sickness and disease…ERASED!

Forever unpleased…ERASED!

Weakness and sorrow…ERASED!

No hope for tomorrow…ERASED!

Addictions…ERASED!

Convictions…ERASED!

Fears…ERASED!

Tears…ERASED!

Pains…ERASED!

Chains…ERASED

The last stroke of my brush, I take a look

Commanding Your Morning

Commanding Your Morning by Cindy Trimm is one of the most powerful books I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading! This book is not for the faint at heart or for those that are pseudo Christians. What I mean by that is this book is for the spiritually sound! If you have not developed your relationship with God, this book won’t work for you. Why? Simply because you have to embrace and ignite your Covenant Rights, you have to be ready to unleash the power you’ve been given in Jesus’ name! As God has told us, life and death is in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21), this book helps us to reveal and command that power. From reading this book something really hit home. I had an idea of the possibilities but not until I read this did I truly get it all connected together. That simple and profound idea was this: The words you speak are manifested in your life because the words you speak become words you hear, words you hear become words you believe, words you believe become tangibles you see!

If you’re ready to call those things that aren’t as though they were (Romans 4:17) then you have GOT to get this book by this AWESOME Woman of God!

Right People, Right Place, Right Plan: Discerning the Voice of God by Jentezen Franklin: This book right here is important because it gives guidance on learning God’s voice. As applied to us, some of us are not called to be married and we have to learn to hear if God is telling us that He has the ministry of marriage for us.

Before You Say “I Do” by Todd Outcalt: The questions in this book are what couples should discuss BEFORE marriage. Being honest and exploring your answers before marriage allows you to really know your mate. Some of the answers will be hard to swallow but it’s reminiscent of Adam and Eve when they were described as being “naked and not ashamed”. It’s not only in the physical sense, but the mental/emotional as well. You’re able to “bare” it all and still be comfortable with each other.

NOTE: One reason why it’s important to only date the type of man you are wanting to marry (in this case GODLY MEN) is they will help you keep focused on God. Sometimes when you enter a new relationship you get preoccupied with your new relationship and forget about your relationship with God. Having someone who will help build that because they are also building, is priceless.
